Elevating Brand Presence for Growth
S2S Group, industry leaders in the asset management, data destruction and recycling of redundant IT equipment across the UK, embarked on a mission to double their revenue over the next three years. With aspirations to attract top 100 FTSE companies, the Rotherham-based firm sought to rebrand and realign their communication strategies to resonate with existing and potential customers.
The Brief.
S2S Group came to Fantastic wanting a complete brand overhaul and creation of a multi-channel marketing strategy to align with the group’s mission of being the UK’s No.1 ITAD (IT Asset Disposal) supplier. This included a new website, revamped paid media campaigns, PR strategies, and organic social media content. The aim was to cement their position as industry leaders while staying true to their core positioning.
The Research.
Fantastic Media conducted an in-depth iNSIGHT process, involving market research, competitor analysis, and branding evaluations. This research discovered that although S2S were doing some solid marketing work already, there was room for improvement across branding, demand generation, sales assets, and customer engagement. This informed the development of tailored strategies across various communications channels.
Protect
Recycle
Secure
The Big Idea.
The new communications strategy for S2S Group highlights their main principles: Protect, Recycle, and Secure. It aims to show transparency, security, and excellence throughout the entire customer experience. The aim was to differentiate the firm in the market while building deeper connections with their audience by building a brand that speaks to their audience, embracing long-term promotional campaigns and activities, and complementing these with tactical initiatives.
The Activity
With a newly redesigned website, a refreshed brand identity that stripped away the old logo shape and incorporated a new font, colour palette and the introduction of a simple brand asset of repeating squares, creating a visual representation of the breakdown of data. The branding was created alongside on and offline collateral and a comprehensive marketing strategy. This included PR campaigns and targeted paid media efforts on Google PPC and LinkedIn. We also started posting refreshed content on organic social media channels and creating valuable content such as white papers and articles. Additionally, we designed brand assets to ensure a cohesive and impactful visual identity.
“Fantastic Media have supported us in making our strategy come to life. We value the insight and the direction they bring; as well as being able to challenge decisions and make sure that effectiveness and business objectives are built into everything we do.”
