This week we were delighted to once again support the annual Yorkshire Business Forum, which this year brought rugby union legend Bill Beaumont to the John Smith’s Stadium.
Now a key date in the regional business calendar, the Forum encourages businesses from our region to interact and work together to rebuild and strengthen the local economy
For the fourth consecutive year, Chadwick Lawrence partnered with Huddersfield Town Football Club to offer members of the regional business community an intriguing insight into the worlds of both sport and business.
Introductions were made by Huddersfield Town Chief Executive, Nigel Clibbens, after which Business Editor of the Yorkshire Post, Bernard Ginns gave a great commentary about the strength of business in Yorkshire and what the future holds for the region.
Huddersfield Town Manager, Mark Robins, then held a Q&A session which saw him field some great questions from the audience, before Bill Beaumont took to the stage.
Beaumont provided attendees with a terrific insight into his international rugby union career and his business life in textiles. During his talk, Beaumont spoke about his time in TV with A Question of Sport and drew upon his many life experiences to provide the audience with an engaging account of his career.
Fantastic Media Managing Director, Andy Hobson said: “The Forum becomes more successful with each year. Now a key date in the regional business calendar, the Forum encourages businesses from our region to interact and work together to rebuild and strengthen the local economy.”
