We are a rapidly growing Leeds based full service agency and are seeking a talented PHP developer to strengthen our award winning design and development team. This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a young and vibrant team, passionate about the web and all things digital. The candidate should show a passion for clean, intuitive bug-free code and understand that testing matters.

JUNIOR WEB DEVELOPER (1 – 3 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE)

SALARY: COMPETITIVE  (NEGOTIABLE DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE)

Required Skills:

• Understanding of Object Oriented PHP5
• Use of MVC frameworks (Zend, WordPress, Code Igniter)
• (X)HTML & CSS / LESS
• MySQL
• JQuery JavaScript library
• AJAX – XML / JSON
• Cross browser compatibility
• Competent in Photoshop

Desirable Skills:

• Shopify
• Versioning tools: Concurrent Versioning System (CVS), Subversion (SVN), Git
• Internet Payment Integrations (SagePay, WorldPay, Paypal)
• Twitter/Facebook/Flickr /Google/YouTube API’s
• Zend
• Linux/Apache administration, Plesk

As well as the above skills the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, show an all-round enjoyment of the digital landscape and demonstrate an eagerness to learn and share new ideas.
