We have been appointed by Engineering in Motion to design and build an innovative new website for the Global Land Rover 4×4 in Schools Technology Challenge.
Mirroring the successful template of F1 in Schools, the Land Rover 4×4 in Schools Technology Challenge will see school teams from across the world competing against each other to design and build 4×4 model cars that will be raced against teams in regional, national and international competitions.
Education event specialists, Engineering in Motion, who organise and run the challenge are aiming to address the skills gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) subjects within schools in the UK and across the world. The winners will receive a scholarship to Harper Adams University as well as a host of other prizes.
The focus, however, is as much on fun and engagement as education and competition with challenges ultimately designed to illustrate to the next generation of engineers the excitement of a career in a STEM-related field.
