Our team and sister company Fantastic Cloud Services have been invited to Toronto by back up software provider Asigra to take part in their global partner summit. While most of the conference will be focussed around technical development and innovation in the solution, Asigra have also laid on an interesting agenda of speakers around marketing.
This included a 4 hours Content Marketing masterclass from Chief Strategy Officer of the Content Marketing Institute, Robert Rose, who shared thoughts and best practices for companies to develop Content Marketing programmes that are focussed on achieving business goals.
For B2B businesses in particular, Content Marketing can be a particularly effective strategy to enable companies to position themselves as thought leaders and enable them to set the conversation within their respective audiences.
Although we already run content marketing campaigns for a number of clients, and the tactics Robert highlighted are in line with our approach, there were new ways of thinking about Content Marketing, particularly in terms of story mapping and measurement techniques.
In addition to the discussions around how Content Marketing can drive growth in businesses, it has also been invaluable to share ideas with businesses from Canada and the USA, and very encouraging to find that it would appear Fantastic is leading the world in the implementation of Content Marketing.
