We are pleased to welcome Daniel Rice, a talented school student from Halifax, who is spending a week with our Fantastic Mobile team to gain some valuable experience and develop his knowledge and skills in the mobile and app industry.
It’s vital to consider how we use apps as a wider marketing strategy.
Fifteen year old Daniel, who attends Crossley Heath Grammar School, recently won a scholarship to Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco this summer 2013. He has already created four mobile apps which are available on the Apple app store, his app called ‘Sort the mail’ is a brilliant interactive game.
Daniel has worked closely with the Fantastic Mobile team and been exposed to what they do on a day to day basis. He has also developed an app for one of Fantastic’s long standing clients which may be released soon!
David Ford, Lead Multimedia and Mobile Developer said: “Daniel is brilliant when it comes to developing for iOS, but his experience at Fantastic will encourage him to apply his skills in a commercial setting. The process of developing an app is extremely important but it’s also vital to consider how we use apps as part of a wider marketing strategy, and how they work to help increase revenue/brand awareness for the brands we create them for.”
Fantastic has enjoyed having Daniel as part of the team and we wish him all the luck in the future!
