Position Title: Account Executive

Reports To: Account Manager/Director

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Leeds, Office based.

Job Summary:

The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of client relationships, executing marketing campaigns, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
  • Understand client objectives, challenges, and industry trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and performance analyses to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

 

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with creative, digital, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing activities.
  • Coordinate and manage client meetings, briefings, and reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, pitches, and client presentations.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse and interpret data to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.

 

Education and Experience:

Degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

A minimum of 1 year of experience working at a marketing agency, or

A graduate with a year in industry as part of their degree, or

Completion of a marketing apprenticeship with over 12 months of experience at a marketing agency.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, social media platforms, analytics tools).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A full clean, driving license
