Integrated marketing agency Fantastic Media has been appointed by Brighouse-based Yorkshire Packaging Systems (YPS) to rebrand the business as it prepares for significant future growth.
The appointment of Fantastic Media comes as YPS completes its full operational move to new, modern facilities in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. It is a significant milestone for the business and the decision was made to overhaul the brand as part of the next phase in the life of YPS.
On-boarding through the agency’s Insight process, the Fantastic team worked closely with YPS – a family run business with a long heritage spanning more than four decades – to create a brand that worked to improve perception internally and externally, that was in line with the business values and made a statement of intent; to coincide with the growth driven move.
Managing Director Glyn Johnson commented: “Growth had called time on our existing look, and we wanted to reflect our continued development through a new corporate identity, in line with our value proposition. We are delighted with the work Fantastic has put into our brand. The way they approached the task, with their unique Insight process, was an eyeopener for all the team and we are energised by the results.
We now have a complete brand package from logo identity, colour palette, font usage, photography style, tone of voice and marketing activation toolkit. Our brand guidelines are now clear, allowing us to move to stage two including website development and marketing activation.
The rebrand has also helped to splash our personality across our new HQ and really make it feel like home. It appears in our carpets, graphics, furniture and decor. It’s already wowed several visiting customers, evoking many words of admiration for the design, look and feel of the branding.”
